Guitarola plays Centrella’s new warehouse Grand Opening for Dick Smith’s Communivision.  The tune is “Hide Away” by Freddy King, but this arrangement is closer to cut #2 on “(John Mayall) Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton” album. .

DENNIS KEITH BAND performed at the EGAN/FUNK wedding in SHIRLEY, ILLINOIS.  The venue was in a tent – do you remember that it was raining – hard??  Even though the weather did not cooperate, the party was a huge success.  The food was wonderful, and the view…..up on a little hill and gorgeous.  The Band played everything from Michael Jackson to Estelle and had the crowd rocking until late.  Boy it was dark out in the middle of a corn field!!

GUITAROLA at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace, IL performing for IFRA/GMA.  Producer was Dick Smith of COMMUNIVISION

Guitarola entertained in support of the cocktail reception & Gala Banquet at the 2009 Annual Conference & Expo at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace, IL for IFRA (Illinois Food Retailers Association) and GMA (Grocery Merchandising Association).  Dinner was unintentionally interrupted several times with applause for specific “boomer” tunes played by Guitarola.  Some real favorites were: “Black Magic Woman” “From the Beginning” “Hideaway” Something” “I Shot the Sheriff” “Sleepwalk” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”.

GUITAROLA performed at the ART INSTITUTE CHICAGO – MODERN WING for ROCHE, produced by ANDREW SCHOOR and KERI MILLER for IN THE LOOP-CHICAGO.  The room looked wonderful – IN THE LOOP respected the design of the GRIFFIN COURT and decorated in stylish, casual colors. Andrew commented, “GUITAROLA sounds great in Griffin Court!!”  The crowd had a great time too!  It is amazing how many MDs had played guitar in their youth!
